My mission is to make the world of work and business more human. I work with established organisations and growing businesses, entrepreneurs, executives and freelancers.

Here’s how I help improve businesses and work lives:

  1. Nail the essence of your brand or business. And give yourself the fuel to grow. My “Fuel Up your Business” package figures out the essence of your business or brand, revisiting what your organisation does and why you do it. Capturing and reflecting back provides a concrete manifesto for moving forward, both as a touchstone internally for employee engagement and externally for marketing and storytelling. Recent clients include Stripe Partners, a global strategy and innovation studio.

  2. Fire up your work life. And build an authentic work life upon your unique values and strengths. My “walk n’ talk” coaching sessions for business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives and freelancers run in central London (and by Skype or FaceTime for those further afield). I also lead workshops within organisations. Read business leader Helen’s post about her experience and check out my Coaching page for details.

  3. Shine a light on your business story. Tell the world what lies at the heart of your brand or business. Bring a business to life, build an emotional connection with your audience, engage your team members. I’ve brought stories to life for clients ranging from The Do Lectures to the accountancy firm Buzzacott. See my Storytelling page.

I also design and run workshops for organisations such as the BBC on themes including curiosity and storytelling. You can also hire me to speak at your event or organisation (recent gigs include guest lecturing to students at The University of East London and the opening keynote at the Snap Photography Festival in Wales).

My career has been a rollercoaster of a ride full of twists and turns - sometimes exciting, sometimes hairy, but never boring (watch my Do Lecture “Finding your story, your purpose and your compass”). In 17 years working for myself I’ve been hired by a diverse mix of clients including the BBC, MTV, Benetton and The World Economic Forum. I’ve written for the Financial Times and Monocle magazine, am the author of four books on entrepreneurship and have spoken at events from SXSW in Austin Texas to Meet The Innovators at The Apple Store in London.

I'm based in London and live by the Thames estuary in Leigh-on-Sea. I work with clients of all shapes and sizes, on both sides of the Atlantic. You can check out my stories on Medium and follow me on Twitter. Let’s talk - get in touch: hello@iansanders.com.
