My five productivity tips to ignite your day at work

I’m conscious about HOW I work. These five things help me get things done:

  1. WHERE. Think where is best for which activity. Mix up your work spaces. Take a walk to come up with ideas. Go to the coffee shop to get energised. Sit in a different chair in the house.

  2. WHEN. Know what time of day you’re at your best. Do the work that matters when you’re on fire.

  3. HOW. What are the tools you need to get your work done? On-screen, off-screen, pen and paper. Be intentional.

  4. LISTS. As the great David Allen once said, your brain is for having ideas not storing information. Have a to-do list habit. Everything that needs to be done - write it down.

  5. FUEL. Know what fuel you need. Peace. Buzz. Loud music. People. Nature. Black coffee. A reward at the end of the day
